*Poke* I wish you a very, very, very late Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...

Sorry for that, I barely come on MT anymore... or on internet for that matter ^_^'... Must be because I spend my days working on a computer XD...

Anyways, I hope you're doing well. ^^

Take care,

Aya

Allo Anjhu!

(Take care)

Aya

Quote by AnjhurinHey aya sis ^_^

Hum, gomen for not writing in soooo long, it feels like i just dropped out of MSN (and of MT as well) for some time now... I hope everything's going smoothly with work and ants ^_^'.
Anyway, me is fine, my exams are over for now (back in february though), and the hospital life is much more thrilling than the theorical lessons. It's the holidays around here, no snow though (as usual) but cold (well... around 0 celsius i mean ;)).

Okay, the point is, Merry Christmas to you (joyeux noel, pourquoi je parle en anglais ?).

Take care

Quote by KenryoWow, nice drawing. I'm a fan of samurai deeper kyo too. I wonder if the SDK manga is complete, haven't been reading it for quite awhile. I'd appreciate it if you'd drop by my guestbook and tell me ^^.

Great userpage BTW, wish i knew hot to make it like that.

Lol, thanks for the comments and faves. To answer your question, yes, SDK is over in Japan. It ended with 38 volumes (307 chapters)... Unfortunately, since I'm in Canada, I didn't still couldn't read them (French edition is only up to volume 29)... However, a friend who went in Japan last spring sent me 2 volumes that hadn't come out here, and now, another friend who lives in Japan is buying thes last books for me (YAY!).

As for my userpage, thanks, but honestly, I didn't do it myself ^_^'. A friend took care of it for me since I don't have photoshop or any other software to do image editing and so on... There used to be a thread where you could ask someone to make you a userpage, but I guess it's gone now. Maybe this group could help you : http://userpageskindesigns.minitokyo.net/, I think they can make userpages for other members... you need to give the picture you want and the color scheme etc (as many details as you can as to what you want). Maybe you can ask them if they'd want to help you out.

Have a nice day!

f

Hi! I see that you are new here, and you mustn't have read the support section, because all the walls you submitted so far were not made by you (they're either official or made by someone else), which is against MT's rule. You are only allowed to submit artwork you made yourself. I suggest you delete all the walls you submitted immediately or you risk getting a warning.

Go read this : http://support.minitokyo.net before you get a warning. Mainly the policy and the FAQ sections : http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/ and http://support.minitokyo.net/faq/

Otherwise, welcome to MT.

Seen this: http://www.lunaregina.com/wallpapers/2006/wall80.jpg, or http://www.lunaregina.com/wallpapers/2006/wall76.jpg, or even this: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/151325/? To top that off, lunaregina is a member of this community. You should really know and remember that posting wallpapers you didn't make is against Minitokyo's policy.
Since you're a new member, I strongly advise you to go read the support section : http://support.minitokyo.net

Quote by AnjhurinWould you just happen to be a year older ? This time i reckon i got the date right (i was like "hum, i think there's something today, but what is it already ?" ^_^').

Anyway, i guess it's that time, how do you feel, oldie ? Eheh, now you're a real adult in my eyes (i'm not yet as you could have guessed), you've got a job and everything.... Why am I talking in english ?

Bon, ben je te le dis dans les 2 langues dans ce cas : Joyeux anniversaire, et Happy birthday to you X-P

*prepares a b-day cake with candles and stuff*... I'll even invite the ants to the party ;) (et voila, je suis reparti sur l'anglais !).

Tu y as pense! Merci beaucoup!... Are you going to school?"...

J'ai peur d'avoir a demenager de nouveau l'an prochain a cause d'elles...

Bonne journee! Et a plus!

Quote: I'll be really honest the scan is not mine which means ( NOT SELF SCAN) i got it from a website...And now I know who made the wallpaper his/her name is (KALICO)..so pls give the credits to him/her not himm..I will not claim the credit.. :D

HERE'S THE DIRECT URL TO THE IMAGE (http://pixelatedgraffiti.animationalliance.net/Images/Wallpapers/eureka71_1280.jpg) THAT'S THE DIRECT URL OF THE IMAGE..OK

LEAVE A COMMENT PLS..

They keep getting deleted because that is not a scan, the scan would be this : http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/142536/. Stop submitting those walls and delete them right now, because they're walls, made by someone. You're risking a ban right now. And it doesn't matter whether you say you made them or not, they're not yours, and it's called ripping.

f

Hey there fellow Canadian! You're pretty new here I see, so welcome to MT.

However, I noticed the walls you submitted (and no, they're not scans). You should know you're not allowed to submit wallpapers you did not make yourself. Even if you say so in the description. This is called ripping, and you could get a warning for it. Only walls you could possibly submit as scans are official wallpapers, and those are not official.

I advise you to read the support section http://support.minitokyo.net, mainly the policy: http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/ and the FAQ: http://support.minitokyo.net/faq/

Well, take care!

Quote by charaznableamurorei

Quote: Actually, I started working last week... really it was a training week, which means I already had tons of papers and documents to read...

Let's trade 'occupations'! You can have 'office gal extraordinaire' (since you're working now for the Canada's Translation Bureau) and I can have 'daydreamer' (since I practically just spending lots of time at home writing/working on students' silly school stuff [... which reminds me, I have to ask them for their payment tomorrow! XD ] while trying to cope with crappy internet). Anything gossipy or interesting while at work, hnn?

You've been a big help, really. Oh, about what I intend to do with the answers... well, I don't clearly know yet, but at least, you (doujin artists: plural sense) voicing your (plural) opinions on it might help me focus in coming up with ideas to support doujinshi, taking into account the doujin artists' concerns. Sometimes, though I have good intentions on how to support you guys, maybe consulting with you first is best... I noticed that nowadays in MT, consultations like shin's thread are pretty much rare... and maybe just talking about issues help, right?

Anyway, updated thing here.... and again, sorry for the bother and thanks for the help! Succinct, succinct -- word for the day!

START

[Question for doujin artists] How do you want to be supported?

First off, I want to apologize for the overbearing posts recently in the DSC.
Maybe I'm talking too much, failing to listen. Suggesting too much, failing to hear what you desire to say.

To doujin artists: How do you want to be supported? What would make you feel appreciated and loved? What kind of appreciation do you want for yourself and your art? Personally and/or as a whole movement of independent artists?

All doujin artists, whether they belong in other MT doujin groups or going solo, are happily welcomed to post their opinions! Please don't worry about your poor English, too. Your answers are very important to me and will be valued, however they are stated.

[ This is more or less what I intend to do with the answers to the thread... I don't have to add this, no? ]
Your opinions would be very very helpful for me personally, because as much as I would like to continue supporting doujinshi and you artists, maybe what I have in heart, mind and intent as ways of doing so might not match or coincide with how you want to be supported. Perhaps for others, what you'll say might aid them in their own ways of supporting you and your art.

END

You call that succinct?! XP And no way! I'm keeping my daydreamer!... god knows I'll need that occupation after work shifts >.<, especially since it requires me to remain constantly awake, in front of a computer screen. (I'll finally see my real office tmr, or maybe, I should say my cube... >.< Yay for mp3 players to make sure I don't hear my neighbours! Good thing for them is, I don't have access to any e-mail accounts, except their own, and they watch all of our online activities, so I won't go crazy with the chatting and downloading LOL. And no, no gossips for now, except I had quite an unexpected influence on the vacation trip of the guy who called me for myjob offer... He noticed the city in my address (he thought it was close to where his wife came from, but he was a bit wrong), and so, they decided to go visit my hometown XD...

Anyways, I don't have much to add about your thread discussion (btw, Ephie sort of answered that even before you posted the thread in the group's gb... the post is almost as long as yours XD)... Ok, so nothing to add except, maybe, if you want a discussion about doujinshis as whole, and not just about how to support artists, you could talk about how doujinshis are perceived on MT these days... Why they lack popularity and so on... And not only how we'd like to be supported, but give piece of ideas as to how we could make doujins less invisible in the galleries, etc. Blah, you don't have to listen to me... I've had too much time to think today it seems (I was avoiding reading all those documents about military vocabulary ^_^'... SO BAD! and sooo complicated).
Well, gotta go, see ya!

great userpage!

You're welcome. Yeah, xandman was okay, except for the fact that he said exactly what he thought, without being willing to tone down not to hurt feelings. Most of the posts were deleted anyways. It's pretty much what I remember of him. Oh, and thanks ^^

f

f

*poke Chara* I'm guessing that means you got rudely disconnected again XP... anyways, I'll answer your last question before going to bed... (4 am here, and I was supposed to be in bed at 3 ^_^) BAD, BAD GIRL *hits her hear on keyboard*... Anyways, I guess I would like to help you with your project, but I have to say I start working in less than 2 weeks and may not have as much time on my hands as I did for W.A.R... It'll depend on what you want me to do ^_^'... But I guess we can talk about it again... just PM me.
Ja ne!

I'm kinda confused: I should be feeling sad because I missed joining the last day of our Autonomous Festival because of the heavy rains (and because we have no dry clothes to wear XD ... I'm tired of handwashing laundry! T_T Also, our real-life handmade banner for the Festival hasn't dried too.... we're proud of what we've painted on this large curtain, in Tagalog: "Narito ang daan tungo sa kalayaan" (Here's the road to freedom). But I'm feeling happy coz the w.a.r. thing seems to be doing well despite some probs. Anyway, ja ne!

Yay! Anjhu wrote in your gb, so I can finally answer to you... stupid post you wouldn't let me delete. <.< (and I hate merging posts)

Anyways, back to the beginning: Hi chara-neesan! And, now my trademark question: How are you? Still unable to post in gbs or send PMs? What about forum posts? XD... I guess you wouldn't be able to answer here though LOL... If you still have the problem though, my offer to report it still stands, just send me an e-mail and I'll do it right away.

And yes, I'm scared of your ______! XP. Oh yeah, and give back my little Capucine! You'll scare her T_T... She's scared of our vacuum (she actually runs and hides behind furniture when she hears it... same with aluminum paper.. that gives you an idea? XD

You handwash your laundry o_O... gosh, I barely do my own laundry, even with the machines... ^_^' (Well, at my mom's, that's not a problem, she takes care of it, and I help fold... but at my appartment, you have to pay to wash and dry your clothres and I'm not very rich ^_^').

Anyways, I'll stop babbling, I just thought I'd come say hi! Take care!

EDIT: I'm so forgetful, I was also coming by to thank you for the fave on my Maigo no Chou doujinshi! So thank you very much ^^ Bye!

Allo Anjhu!

Quote by lamiteThank you, it is fixed.
Thank you again about 6 Angels ! :)
And a final thank you to tell me these are very common and official wallpapers. As you maybe think, I have really not a wallpaper fan and/or expert ! lol

The truth is I am purging my HDD, so before erasing, I prefer put these online.
Do you understand my poor english ? Aaargh, conjugation is not my best point, and the lack of words is severe ! lol

You're welcome. And, yup, I understand your English, no problem...

Quote by ShrinkNerv4EvaYou can't post other people's wallpapers and post them as your own while telling the source. What the rules meant was that you can post them, as scans, and tell the source.

Quote by benjaminchiaHi ayamael,

glad to have greeting from you. Yes, indeed, most of the people whom I knew in MT seemed to be out of contact or at least stop submitting works. Likewise for me as well. Being quite busy with work and church stuff.

glad to see that your works have improved tremedously! Keep it up!

Hi benjaminchia!

How are you? Still busy?

Yeah, I noticed you weren't as active as before, then again, most of my friends aren't anymore. I guess that's part of the reason why I started dissapearing from MT. Which sucks a little >_<. That, and the fact that I was busy with my last year of university. Anyways, hope to get news from you! Have a nice day!

P.S thanks for the quiz links on your userpage, I did all of them XD... Even the "how asian are you... apparently, I'm 100% Asian... but I'm caucasian o_O... LMAO! bye!

Hi! I'm really sorry for the late reply! I'm doing fine, thanks for asking! How are you doing? lol, I know! I don't know what happened to it! No problem on the fav! I really like it! lol! Some of those quizes are weird! Well I hope you have a great week! Take care!

My turn to give you a late reply. How are you? And what have you been up to? Here it's a bit crazy, apartment hunt, then furniture hunt... I'm preparing to move for the second time this summer XD

P-S. Lol, the quick reply box is still small, maybe you should ask a mod about it, ro report it in the bugs forum ^_^' At least, your entire page isn't screwed up like it does sometimes when someone misuses quote tags, that's good! lol

Take care and good bye!

Hi there, just thought I'd give you some tips:

Quote: this is a scan of sei from burst angel i found from ask.com...it was taken down before, not sure why, i feel i did a good job with texturing and manipulation....let me know if u like it...

Hum, the reason for the first deletion must have been written in the botchii message you received. And you're not allowed to reupload anything if they have already been deleted, not unless you made a complaint in this thread first: http://forum.minitokyo.net/thread/38205/complaints-deleted-images-warnings-bans/ and the mods decided that they made a mistake and cancel the deletion.

I suggest you go read the support section, especially these two parts : Policy and Frequently Asked Questions sections before submitting anymore work.

Hi! How are you?

Lol, yes, French is indeed very hard, even those who speak it from birth tend to have difficulties with grammar and spelling... It's a bit of a problem that worries a lot of scholars right now. ^_^'

As for future plans, I'm starting to work in October, that's pretty much it... I don't like thinking ahead much. ^_^' I just take things as they come.

And good luck... only one more year of school to go through XD. I'm sure it'll go by very fast, and in the end, you'll realize it wasn't long enough (okay, maybe not the accounting part XD).

Hi there lev! I just noticed while checking up on the W.A.R. forum that it's your birthday today so, it's 1:30 a.m. right now, but I just had to come by to wish you a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Have a nice day!

Quote by fireflywishesHey there Ayamael! A BIG thank you for all of your kind comments on my past doujinshi! *whew* That was a lot of comments to read! But I'm so glad that you liked them! So, you've been doing a lot of reading? Me too? What kinds of things have you been reading? Anything interesting? After reading Brave New World for about the umpteenth time, I decided to start reading my little brother's Alex Rider series written by Anthony Horowitz...

*poke* *poke* Hi there fireflywishes! How are you? Well, first off, late congratulations are in order for your promotion. XD

And then, apologies are also in order since I am very late at replying again  Gomen! I'm a bit everywhere these days. I had to go look for an appartment in Ottawa because I'm moving in only 3 weeks, then i had to find the furniture to put in that appartment and of course, I had to clean my entire computer because my hardrive was full (I'm still not done with that one XD), and so on...

With all this, I didn't have time to read as much as I wanted to this summer (nor draw for that matter) except in the buses that brought me to Ottawa and back. T_T I still have a collection of about 15 books waiting for me to open them lol. Speaking of books, I'm afraid I've never heard about those you talked about. Well, I'm a French Canadian that lives, for now, in a small town in the province of Quebec where libraries are exclusively in French... OX But, if they're good, or that you have any other books you adored, please do tell me: I'll look for them in Ottawa.

At the beginning of the summer, I read a lot of French books written by contemporary authors from Quebec, mainly historical or detective novels. I'm just not sure if you can read in French though XD.

In terms of English literature, I bought some books before moving out of Quebec City (where there are real English librairies: miracle!). I bought classics I have never read even though I attended an English college like Dickens (Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby) and Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice. I also bought the devil wears prada and, from the same author, everybody worth knowing, partly because I couldn't go see the movie (no movie theatres close to my hometown, of course!). I also bought The Chronicles of Narnia after seeing the first movie. And a collection from Philip Pullman: His Dark Materials. I believe you read Memoirs of a Geisha, which I finally read (in a hurry before the movie came out) and just loved. I think I should stop the enumeration of books I bought now, you're probably already bored. XD And I still didn't read any of them. >.<

Anyways, as I said, if you have any advice to give me on books, I'd be immensely grateful. For now, charaznableamurorei told me to read The Gift by Ursula K. Le Guin. But, obviously, I can't find it here. ~_~

Oh, and about the invitation for your Blood+ group, of course I'll accept it. *Goes to the group's page and clicks the apply button.* XD

Lol, so, I'll end the guestbook spamming novel there. XD Hope you'll give me some news about yourself and what you've been doing with your summer,, as well as some of your own book titles enumeration. XD (No need to make it as long as I just did >.<).
Take careand see ya!

Quote by pegassussLovely drawing aya-san! ^_^ and sorry for the late feedback ^^' Her pose is really well accomplished, it's a difficult one. You did a great job with her facial expression, it shows a lot of feeling. The contrast with the shading is great, you did a great job. The shading is very well placed and done. Her clothes are very well drawn, with the foldings and with a lot of details. And the scratches are well done. Very good job! ^^

Hi there Peg-chan! How are you? Long time no talk huh?

And what are you talking about... "late feed-back" <.< I didn't give you feedback on any of the drawings you submitted since at least last October. ^_^' Sorry about that, my last year of university kept me really busy and I had a translation internship on top of it. So, though I kept on coming on MT everyday, I just stopped being active in both the forums and the galleries. But I kept all the gallery notifs I've had and will get to your drawings... erh... someday I suppose... they're hidden for now under piles of notifs. ^_^' So, I really want to thank you (exactly 2 weeks and 3 days too late) for your comment on my drawing. I really, really, really appreciate it!

Anyways... Looks like I didn't talk to you in a very long time, soooo sorry -_- ... So I have no idea what you've been up to this last year. ^_^' I hope you're still doing fine though.

I'll annoy you some news about me I guess, since I'm in your gb XD... As I said, it was my last year of university, so I just graduated from my translation program with awesome grades. And I'm not sure if I told you about this, but I applied to the JET program to go teach in Japan last October. However, it didn't work out, I didn't get accepted. They put me on a waiting list, and never called me back . But in the end, that refusal turned out to be the best possible thing for me since Canada's Translation Bureau (the place where I did my internship) offered me a permanent job in Ottawa. I'm moving in only a few weeks there, and I start working in October. So, I have the whole summer off (well had, the summer is basically over here <.<), though I wasn't really able to relax: two moves only a few months apart and all the little problems that came up, including a surgery (stupid wisdom teeth that can't seem to grow right for anyone anymore and a small allergy to the pills they gave me XD).

Well, I'll stop the annoyance now XD. I'd really like to get an update on you though. :nya: So, till then, take care!
